Logistics

The logistics field deals with the planning and management of the flow of goods, services connected with the journey of goods from the manufacturer to the final consumer, and the storage of goods. The goal of logistics is for all processes to take place at the right time and for goods to reach their destination quickly and efficiently. Logistics processes are very complex and involve manufacturing companies, sellers, carriers, and government administration. Logistics include concepts such as storage, packaging and packaging technology, forwarding, and transportation. The logistics company thus provides a wide range of services—from transport flow management to capacity assurance and route planning, through goods storage and depot management to goods delivery and communication with the end customer.
